Michelle Searcy

Michelle Searcy is a Colorado native and grew up in Colorado and San Diego, California. Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Colorado State University. She attended the University of Colorado School of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate degree.

Having earned both of her degrees as a single mother, Michelle brings compassion and insight into family law issues. Although she has practiced law in a number of areas, including criminal law, civil litigation, collections, and appeals, Michelle chose to focus on family law. Michelle’s passion for family law results from her experience as a child of divorce and as a co-parent. Michelle believes that divorce provides an opportunity for a fresh start and can be accomplished without contested court hearings. However, she also understands that this is not always possible and is willing and able to litigate matters that cannot be resolved.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family.
