Toni-Anne Dasent

Ms. Dasent received her Bachelor’s Degree from York University of Ontario, Canada. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor, Canada, where she worked with the University’s Community Legal Aid program becoming a Director and Group Advisor. She became a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in Ontario, Canada, and after working for the largest law firm in Canada, moved to Colorado . She then became a Member of the Colorado Bar Association in 1994.

Since her arrival in Colorado, she has remained involved with Legal Aid and the Metro Volunteer Lawyers Association. She also works, as needed, as a Part Time Instructor in the area of family law at Arapahoe Community College.

Ms. Dasent enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She believes that while conflict is sometimes inevitable, parties involved in family matters should always attempt to resolve the issues with dignity and cooperation, keeping the child’s interest as a paramount goal.
