Virginia A. Frazer-Abel

Virginia A. Frazer-Abel was raised on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in a family of six children. She attended Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and played first-base for Grinnell’s varsity softball team. Following her undergraduate degree Virginia worked in educational and scientific publishing for twelve years and pursued her volunteer interests as a buddy with the Colorado AIDs Project, as a past co-chair of the Alexander Foundation, as a surgical volunteer with the Denver Dumb Friends League, and as a coach for Special Olympics Softball and Denver Parks and Recreation girls softball. Virginia attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law receiving both a Juris Doctorate degree as well as a Master’s in Taxation.

Virginia is licensed to practice law in Colorado and specializes in elder law, probate, estate planning and public benefits eligibility work. Virginia’s passion for this work is the result of her relationships with her two fabulous grandmothers, one of whom she was named after. In addition to representing individuals in both contested and noncontested probate proceedings, Virginia serves as a Court Visitor and a Guardian ad Litem.

During her free time Virginia enjoys spending time with her daughter and spouse skiing and travelling overseas.
